Beauty and the Beast (1994 video game)
''Beauty and the Beast'' is an action platformer developed by Probe Software and published by Hudson Soft for the NES. It was released in Europe in 1994.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 Release information )〕 Gaston, logically, is the final boss of the game because he wants to kill the Beast and marry Belle.
The game was scheluded for a North American release, however for unknown reasons, it was never released. Prototype(s) of it exist, however it has been not dumped. The game is not playable on a North American console, because the VBlank refresh period was hardcoded to 50 Hz.
